Cafes have popped up all over.. In every city, town and community, you'll find the cozy cafe' or coffee house. But nothing I've seen compares to the experience or the coffee at Joe Bean Coffee Roasters. When you walk in, you are first greated by a wrap around bar with baristas serving up specialty coffee drinks. You'll be amazed at the time and effort that each Joe Bean barista spends to create the perfect brew. As Benjamin Woelk performed the pour over technique of brewing the Guatamalan roast, he explained in intricate details about where Joe Bean sources their beans, the attention to detail Joe Bean takes in roasting their different offerings and the brewing technique. You won't miss the passion that each of their baristas have over the art of coffee. 'We are striving to set ourselves apart as the premeir specialty coffee location in Rochester' says Woelk. He describes the place as a Coffee Bar. A place where you can take your time, really interact with the barista and truly experience the coffee.
I encourage you to head on down to Joe Bean's new location at 1344 Univeristy Ave, Rochester, NY. and give them a try. You won't regret it.
And, of course, you can order your own Joe Bean Coffee from GoBuyRochester.com. Just follow this link.

I was first exposed to Joe Bean Coffee at GBR's SHiFT2012. There, I learned of their monthly "public cuppings". A couple friends and I went to the May cupping and had a great experience and education! Who knew there was so much to know and appreciate about great coffee?! I'll be switching from my store-bought can!
